Types of notifications
You get these notifications based on what happens in your group. Each one can be turned on or off in your own settings without affecting other members.
- Completion notifications: when another member completes a task
- New task notifications: when another member adds a task
- Reminders: when it’s time for a reminder on a task assigned to you
- Recurring task notifications: when a recurring task is created
- New member notifications: when someone joins your group
Turn notifications on or off

Tap the group icon at the top left of the home screen to open the settings menu.

Tap “Notifications”.

Turn on the notifications you want and turn off the rest.

For “Completion notifications” and “New task notifications”, use “Notify for” to choose “All tasks” or “Only my tasks”.
Good to know
- Completion and new task notifications appear when your group has two or more members.
- Not getting any notifications? Check that ToDo is allowed to send notifications in your phone’s settings. If the Notifications screen shows “Open device settings”, you can allow them from there.
